  • Eli had 3 INT's and they were not his fault. All 3 came from receivers tipping the ball high into the air.

You should be trying to pawn off Eli.
      One, I'm a Giants Fan

Two, no one is going to want Eli. Flacco will get more interest than Eli.

Three, this is a backup QB here so it doesn't mean much for me with Rivers, as you point out. Eli is fantastic in NFC East games virtually guaranteed. Flacco is too unknown for my tastes as a backup QB who likely won't start over Rivers for me.

        Sadly the scoreboard doesn't care.

Hey, as much of a LT fan I am, I still benched him against the Ravens. Should have played him, he was my number 2 back, and has earned that slot next week.

I'm still trying to figure out what to do with Collie. I don't want to flex out 3 WRs. Driver and Colston both did well last week. Don't really want to bench Colston as I figure the Saints are just too good.

You have one too many QBs. Package one of em out, get some help elsewhere. I've been a happy Rivers owner except for the one week last year where I had Delhomme. He had 35 points or something ridiculous.

This particular non-Apolyton league does not deduct for INT's... Eli's picks mean nothing. And what I meant was that they didn't happen because of bad decision-making. They were flukes. He's not going to start throwing picks like Cutler.

            This is my sales pitch:

Taking offers for Flacco. He played against a tough Jets secondary but with Boldin, Housh, Mason, Stallworth, and Ray Rice, it's clear the sky is the limit for Flacco.

Matt Ryan, Kevin Kolb, or McNabb got you down? Joe Flacco can save the day and your fantasy season.

Don't miss out when he goes up against the same Bengals D that Brady torched... or Cleveland the week after. You know you want him on your starting roster!

Looking for an RB or WR. Package deals welcome.

(alternatively, I'm willing to deal Eli if anyone prefers him over Flacco; 3 TD game for Eli against Carolina and he's solid week in and week out; a great play in NFC East rivalry games)

My dilemma is that the guys with weak QB's (Kolb, McNabb, Ryan) have players I either don't want or players that are way too valuable for a straight trade for Flacco.
For example, Ryan owner has Chris Johnson, Steven Jackson, Miles Austin, and a bunch of scrubs. The guy with Kolb (who also has Cutler) has Larry Fitz, Andre Johnson, Deangelo Williams and no one else... The guy with McNabb who I just beat has MJD, McCoy, Desean Jackson, and Percy Harvin so he really isn't all that strong after MJD.

Yeah I'd have to do a package deal, especially considering the breakdown of these teams with weak QB's...

Ideally, I'd like to wait for a major QB injury to happen to trade Flacco since he'd have the most value by then but I need to win now, obviously. Unfortunately, the guy with Kolb also has Cutler and will likely pick up Vick so really I'd be waiting for McNabb to get hurt, realistically, since everybody else are pretty much iron men.

                  • Hey guys, there is a thread for Fantasy Football disscussion. Lets keep this one on real football like picking on Al for thinking that going for a TD instead of taking the automatic 3 point when down by 1 late in the game is a good decision.

                      Hear hear!

KC was lucky to get out of their with a win. They were outplayed and for some reason Norv Turner decides running Darren Sproles in short yardage rather than Ryan Matthews was a good idea (even though Matthews is like 30 lbs heavier).

                        • They miss having an intelligent coach, who'd run the bigger back.
