Well that play was the real reason why Dallas lost.

But don't be pissed off at Jason Garret. I highly doubt Garret said step back to pass then try to run then toss a lateral to Choice, Tony. That was all Romo improvising.



And of course Choice, who shouldn't have been given the ball to begin with and with no chance of running downfield, should have just went to the ground as he was tackled, not try to stay standing fighting like getting an extra yard means anything with 65 yards to the endzone.

No... I guarantee you for 4 WR's and coming out of a shotgun, the play was to heave it to the endzone and hope for either a miracle catch or a pass interference call. It wasn't to do what Romo and Choice did.

There is nothing wrong with heaving one up before halftime in that situation. That's a pretty common call.

Romo was a meathead to do it. I don't fault Choice as much. He was all WTF, just like I was. Redskins were trying to strip the ball and were successful.
People here, me included, are questioning his play calls the whole game, especially the first half. All these swing passes and short crap, almost exclusively.

I dont know, Jrabbit... isn't the first week of the season usually low-scoring? Defenses seem to play better early in the season for some reason.

It was definitely a heave to the endzone. There was 4 seconds to go and 65 yards to the endzone. They came out in a shotgun with 4 WR's... you do the math. It was supposed to be a hail mary but Romo wanted to do as he does and get cute and improvise.
