  • Doesn't that just warm your heart?

The PSU-Temple game went pretty much how I figured it. Good on the Owls, though. Clearly the class of the MAC.

Does the department know that you do drugs? You're really this excited over beating the crap out of Peay? That's sad, and you need to acknowledge the fact.

            • Obviously I should watch more Horns games. At least TCU won.

Chokes? Mallett was obviously trying to throw the ball away, but he didn't do it far enough. More bad luck than than a choke... was driving them very well until that point.

                    • Uh... not even close to being unranked. I'd say 14th.

                      • There's no shame in losing to the Bruins. Good thing for Texas, too...

UCLA has now outscored Texas 100-15 in its past two trips to Austin, after beating Texas 66-3 in 1997.

AUSTIN, Texas -- That was ugly. That was a loss when just about everything went wrong for the Texas Longhorns, and the UCLA Bruins didn't catch a lot of breaks.

                        • Penn State, Arkansas, the Canes and Iowa are the only ranked one loss teams, and they all lost to ranked teams. Granted Iowa lost to 24 Arizona but that was an away game and only by a TD.

Even the Seminoles are better, with a 20 point loss to Oklahoma in Oklahoma.

Had Bernard Pierce not left the game with an ankle injury, Temple would have won. The offense went no where when he left. That's the problem with the Owls. The passing game has been lacking for a while. Too much one-dimensionality on this offense.

Still holding Penn State without a TD til the 4th quarter

                              • The West Coast is the better of the two coasts. We don't like the East Coast.
