What? did someone drop Brett in the IDP league and Jrabbit picked him up? I'm a little surprised someone would just drop him like that. I have him in D/ST and I'm keeping him. Even after two terrible games, it's still Brett Favre... was there someone really that compelling on the waiver wire that you needed to free up a roster spot by dropping Favre?

Favre is my backup QB and a streak-ending injury to his brittle old body is the fear. Could have gone with Henne (running team) or Stafford (still hurt). I'll probably turn over this end-of-roster slot several times this year.

Well I could have picked SJax, DJax in the first and second round, FJax in the fifth, got VJax and BJax off waivers. You made me think of that when you were referring to the Jacksons. Had Vincent Jackson shown up to camp, I probably would have gone that way once SJax fell to me.

fantasy question... any thoughts on what to do with Chiefs backup () runningback, Jamaal Charles? Should I keep starting him or put someone like Maclin in his spot? Charles faces a tough San Fran D that hasn't been too kind to RB's the past two weeks. An RB is still probably a better play than a WR but not if the RB is only getting 10 carries a game and the Chiefs could very well be behind early.

Also, what's the deal with Spiller? I've never seen a 9th overall pick and the #1 RB taken in a draft get so little work...

Updating a previous item, coach Chan Gailey now concedes that C.J. Spiller won't play a major offensive role in the short-term.
"He's still going to make a lot of big plays for us in the future," Gailey said. "We just need to get him going on a little slower pace than throwing him in there from the get-go." Spiller is "not sure" if he will player a bigger role this week than last, when he carried the ball just once. Expect him to be used as a situational player with more of an impact in the passing game.

They paid him $20.8 million guaranteed and he has 8 carries in two games

I have him on my bench... is he just wasting space or is it possible he will start getting on the field more as the season progresses? I have never seen a team devote such a high pick to an RB and not have him play!

I have Fred, so I can't complain. I don't understand the Bill's strategy at all.
