When facing 35 shots or more this year Halak only has one shootout defeat, and no defeat at all above 40.

Worst third period I can ever remember seeing the Wings play. They have got to stay out of the box; moreover, they have got to stay out of situations where the Sharks can plausibly draw a penalty, because they are drawing them every time.

The officiating was... interesting last night. Lots of phantom calls and no-calls affecting both teams.

I was intermittently watching the Wings game and saw these penalties late

-- the Wings deserved their too many men penalty
-- I couldn't believe the call on Heatley for goalie interference--- he gets pushed directly back into Howard and they call Heatley ??-- I have become completely confused by how this is applied and in this case the level of strength and mobility Heatley would need to have avoided Howard was beyond any player I know .

Other than that it seemed the Sharks had a TON of PP time -- ow many did they get versus what the Wings got ??
