  • I don't think they can go to Osgood. He's only started one game since January. His sv% hasn't been over .870 in 2010.

I think Howard is the goat. That third goal was brutal.

    • nye's right. The third goal was terrible. It was a rookie goal. But it is probably too late to look to Ozzy.

      • It's interesting how some of the best teams (in terms of skaters) all thought they could go without a true #1 goaltender (Chicago, De-troy-it, Warshington). Lessons learned, I think.

        • Between this and four main characters getting killed on Lost tonight, I think I may just cry myself to sleep.

Didn't think you watched the show.

Provided you aren't jerking my chain, my apologies. If it is any consolation, it's not clear who the four are until it actually happens.

                  • I do watch the show, but to be honest I've no idea WTF is happening in the show and I watch it out of habit more than anything else.

My multitasking nature (I never watch TV without the laptop out and chatting/surfing at the same time) makes it a hard show to follow. Rest assured it's not that big a deal.

                      • You've been confused for a while then.

I'd advise staying away from the Lost thread in the OT until you see the episode, though.

LOts of people watch the show grrrr-- Seriously though its not a big deal. Its Lost after all. The four dead people will probably come alive somehow or not. I like the show but a lot of the drama ended for me when it vecame apparent that even death was a trivial matter that could be fixed

                            • Montreal

The play a decent game for a while and do NOT get totally dominated-- They therefore fail to give up the 35 shots and multiple great scoring chances that Mr. Halak requires to assure a win

Seriously though, there are some bright spots for Montreal. Suban seems like he is a real bright spot and they do have a fair bit of their core signed for a few years. I don't know that I totally believed in some of their signings but if they could add some size up front they could be a playoff calibre team for a while. Heck with a few tweaks they might even become a contender type team with real possibilities. Right now it seems they are just a longshot that wins when Halak outduels the other goalie

last night Halak was good but Fleury was better. I will be very curious to see how game 4 plays out

                              • I was there yesterday too.

Bettman was at the Bell Center but watched the game from the Zamboni entrance. Wise decision.

I love Pittsburgh. After game 2 they faked being just another Washington, saying stuff like "we'll keep playing like that and we'll eventually win". But they were ready to play a much more defensive trap. Smart team, Bylsma is no Boudreau.

And Fleury almost stole the game with two amazing saves in the third. On Plekanec's shot the crowd was already standing and cheering...

There is still some hope. I didn't expect Subban to be that ready.
