Synopsis:
Slowwhand was the big story in the first part of the season by winning his first eight games. However, he gave the other teams hope when his streak ended with two straight loses. EPW dominated the middle half with a 7-game win streak of his own (which included the biggest regular seas score of the season, 208.48), and managed to steal first place during last weeks of the season. Zopperoni made his presence known in the second half after a 4-3 start. He went 5-1 down the stretch, and missed out on second place and a playoff bye week by losing by less than a point to Koyaanisqatsi in the last game of the season. The battle for the remaining three playoff spots was intense. Guynemer, spaced cowboy, Ben Kenobi, and the Jaguar were the early favorites; but a strong second half by snoopy369 earned him 4th place; and Berzerker managed to scrounge out 8 wins as well earning him 5th. That left only one playoff spot going into the final week. The Jedibolts were the favorite, with a 7-5 record and the most points. But the Mountain Goats were also at 7-5, and had a fighting chance. The 'bolts lost early on Sunday, and the Mountain Goats had a large lead going into Monday Night. But Guynemer managed a spectacular come back and won out by only .18 points; sending Ben Kenobi to the playoffs.
The first week of the playoffs featured two games: snoopy369 vs. Berzerker and Zopperoni vs. Ben Kenobi. EPW and Slowwhand had a bye. The Twisters had a solid victory over the Firemen( 170.25-147.90) and went on to the next round. Zopperoni was the story of the week though; scoring 225.74 points against the Jedibolts who didn't stand a chance. it was some consolation no doubt that Ben Kenobi did manage to win the 5th place game against snoopy369 the next week.
EPW was matched up against Berzerker in Week 15, and had a big game, winning 186.63-158.57. The game between Slowwhand and Zopperoni was much closer. It looked like Slowwhand had won by less than two points late Sunday night; but the morning update put Zopper ahead 159.22-156.56. Slowwhand came back next week with a win against Berzerker for third place.
The Championship game between Teh Peeled Bananas and the Belichick Magnets was very close but lower scoring than previous games. EPW had a weak offensive game on Sunday, but Zopper's TE and W\R let him down. Going into the Monday night game the score was 142-140 in favor of Zopper with one player on each team remaining. Greg Olson for EPW managed to get a TD and Jarad Allen for Zopper did next to nothing. Teh Pelled Bananas won the game 152.14-144.02, and EPW won the championship in his first ever Fantasy Football season.

Big Tuna award for the player who had the biggest effect on our draft:

LenDale White.

Everyone thought that he was going to have a decent season, and so Chris Johnson fell to number 9. LenDale had the decency to be so irrelevant that Chris Johnson was not only the number one pick in value, but also he dominated all the other options.

While there were many underrated and valuable players, such as Miles Austin, Jamaal Charles, Brett Favre and Ray Rice, no one granted as big a competitive advantage than Chris Johnson. No one depressed player value greater than LenDale White.

This league was one of those surprise, seat gripping, back and forth leagues where teams jumped up with good effort and the playoffs held surprises.
