Why do I care? Because it's my first season. I want to see how my team would have done over their entire season, regardless of whether I'm eliminated or not. I'm testing to see how viable my strategy is in the long haul of the season, and how I can improve it over time.

Super Sunday for the league and Zopper's lineup is finally public, showing about a 6-point lead over EPW in the projections. In the consolation game, Berz is showing a similar projected edge over SlowwHand.

Who cares if you have an IR guy on your roster when your season is over? (I mean, obviously, you do care, but to what possible benefit?)

I'm managing my team to be as competitive as possible over 16 weeks so I can see how my strategy would have done. That's all I'm doing.

This situation is a pretty standard practice -- though the original reason was to prevent collusion among buddies, where a key player or two would be dropped by one team and picked up by a contender. In our world, it's generally understood. Everyone just knows and behaves accordingly. My guess is that it never even came up in the D/ST League.

Well I don't see how me dropping Quinn who's IRed is collusion.

you shouldn't be adding or dropping players once your play offs are over. We play an open wire for all active teams including the consolation bracket, when we have one anyway. Usually people in the lower bracket try to avoid adding and dropping players just so the top bracket has dibs, but nobody will care much if you gotta fill a spot you cant fill w/o the wire. Hell, I use to add players even if I was playing for 7th but now I resist the temptation.
