It would have been nice to steal this one. Considering how poorly Cutler (and the offense in general) played, it was pretty amazing that the Bears actually had the lead before selling out to the run on 3rd and 1, leaving Vasher on an island agains Jennings.
I don't like the idea of playing the Steelers next week. Defending champs, arguably the best defense in the league, working on ten days rest. That's gonna be a stiff test.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Cutler was not accurate at all. He 17 for 36 and had at least two more, arguably three more, potential INTs dropped by the Packers as well. I'm OK with a few more turnovers if the offense is scoring significantly more points. This was not like that.
It was encouraging that he came out with a solid 3rd quarter. But what was disturbing were the INTs in key situations -- like down on the 5 on the inside screen (which was a great athletic play by Jolly), then again at the end of the game.

According to the Dan Patrick show... Bears LB Brian Urlacher could be out for the season with a serious wrist injury. Apparently a text message from Brian Urlacher to one of his friends said, "season over." drafting a WR is bad, IMO, because that position is known for its egos and there is already a trend for rookies to demand overpaid salaries that if they were free agents in a pool of other FA's they would be lucky to get a 3 year $6 mil tops.
