We don't normally BAPAY this early at all. It's clearly a different situation. If he's BAPAYed in both leagues with this frequency he's clearly not going to be an involved manager, and I'd rather have an involved manager than not, so I see no reason not to wait 24 hours just because we're antsy.

Why do you suddenly think it should be Steve Smith? He's not nearly the top player by actual... Cutler would (again) be that player.

Either way, the commish ordered Marion Barber above, and any deviation from that would require his input, in my opinion. He'll be back soon enough. You certainly have no right to do a BAPAY on your own against basically everyone else's (divergent) opinions here.

Actual is JR's rule, not Projected. Calvin is much higher than Smith by Actual.

Just to explain -- I wanted to make sure any Bapays in the first 3 rounds would be logical picks, since wasted early picks in a 14-team draft are much more devastating than the usual 10-man configuration. As someone alluded to earlier, it's important to keep all 14 teams engaged, so I was exercising some discretionary power on behalf of spaced cowboy. similarly, DOY has connectivity problems and has asked for us to watch out for him.

For DOY, I'll post the proposed "logical bapay" for group raction before assigning it. (Reason: I pick fairly near duke, and don't want anyone thinking I'm trying to do myself any favors.)

Now that spaced has appeared, I'm hoping this will start to move more smoothly.

Bapays remain as: 24 hours during first 3 rounds, 4 hours starting with Round 4.
