I managed to throw away my goalie stats too - I sat out Lundqvist yesterday and today for no reason at all. Those two games would have won me save percentage and tied me for wins. Now, it looks likely that I'll lose both categories, although I see I've just tied sv %.

Junior league center Mickey Renaud, 19, dies after collapsing at home
Associated Press

WINDSOR, Ontario (AP) -Mickey Renaud, a center with the junior league Windsor Spitfires, died Monday after collapsing at his home in Tecumseh, the team said. Renaud was 19.
Renaud, a fifth-round draft pick by the NHL's Calgary Flames, was taken to a hospital with no vital signs and attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful, team physician Dr. Roy Diklich said.
Renaud was pronounced dead in the emergency room at Windsor Regional Hospital, the Ontario Hockey League team said on its Web site. An autopsy was scheduled later Tuesday, police said.
Renaud, the captain, was in his third year with the Spitfires and had 21 goals and 41 points in 56 games this season.
"This is the biggest tragedy in Spitfire history," Windsor general manager Warren Rychel said in a statement. "Words alone cannot describe our pain at this time."

WTF !!! Les HabsThat was madness-- The biggest comeback in their history!!!
I still wonder if their lack of size will come back to haunt them but they are showing that lots of speedy players can absolutely succeed in the regular seasonYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

and now the Flames are 2-2 on this road trip with Dallas tonight -- Dallas usually owns the Flames so we will see how they can do
The trio so far
San Jose-- Flames win in a game in which they get dominated-- Kipper was surreal
Los Angeles-- The Kings demonstrated repeatedly why they are a last-place team and the Flames played worse as they managed it surpass the Kings in quality AND quantity of bonehead defensive play
Anaheim-- The Flames slightly outplay the Ducks for a period in a game where they were looking very good and take a 1-0 lead. Then to me, the Ducks just turned it up a notch. The Flames didn't really suck, it was just that the Ducks just efficiently dispatched them.
Phoenix-- not a bad team lately but for a change the Flames turned it up a notch and achieved a complete effort and a solid victory. Apparently 'Iron Mike' showed up during an intense team meeting and the players responded.
Dallas??-- one of the hottest teams around--- last time these teams played at the Dome, Turco stole the game in one that the Flames arguably "deserved" to win-- But the Stars are always tough at home so who knowsYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

I saw a bit of the OIlers game and it seemed pretty spirited. Anyone watch it all?? How did they do?
I have noticed that they have seemed more competitive in their more recent games. Earlier this season they seemed to alternate between getting asswhupped and then squeaking out a shootout win in a game their goalie stole. The record seemed far better than their performance
Lately, I have seen a few games where they are fighting hard and giving as good as they get. They seem to be competitive more often and have administered a few ass-whuppings of their own.
While I expect that they would be "seller's" at the trade deadline, I'm not sure that they will have much to move. Rolosen perhaps? But he would be a backup for pretty much any playoff team-- Does Edmonton have any veterans that are facing free agency?Last edited by Flubber; February 20, 2008, 12:10.You don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

Oh and how nuts are the standings ??
1 Ottawa Senators* 75
2 New Jersey Devils* 73
3 Carolina Hurricanes* 65
4 Montréal Canadiens 75
5 Pittsburgh Penguins 73
6 New York Rangers 68
7 Boston Bruins 66
8 Philadelphia Flyers 66
9 Buffalo Sabres 64
10 New York Islanders 63
11 Washington Capitals 62
12 Atlanta Thrashers 62
13 Florida Panthers 60
14 Toronto Maple Leafs 59
15 Tampa Bay Lightning 56
I don't know that I expect both Phillie and the Bruins to hang on to playoff spots. One slot I see as going to Buffalo. They have come a long way from the early season. I also still like Washington as a possible to make a push and either take their division or even make it two SE teams in the playoffs
Its tough to say who in the east is totally out of it- Heck even Tampa is only 9 points from their division lead with 4 games in hand (but can a one line team go on a run??) Toronto?? They are actually a couple of points worse than I expected them to be. I thought they might be one or two points out of the playoffs the whole season long-- Seven points out is still easily doable but I still think the best thing for them would be to fall far enough out that they can make some good deals at the deadlineYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

Calgary beats Dallas in Dallas-- plan the parade!!
The Flames had a decent effort-- they played ok but in the hoopla of winning it seems lost that they weren't that great. The Flames scored on EVERY good chance they had-- Heck Iggy and the first line were non-existent until Iggy scored the winner-- I don't think the first line had a shot on goal.
In fairness I have seen Calgary lose to Dallas in games where they carried the play-- In this one Dallas clearly had the better of the play but the Flames get the win and "its not how . . . its how many"
Cujo was very good-- The Flames management who were probably horrified after Cujos debacle in Edmonton, can now feel a lot better. Cujo looked like the veteran influence that can win a few key games that they wanted.
So a 3-2 road trip. The reality is that if you get that on a trip that involves three playoff teams and a playoff contender-- you'll take itYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo
