Those who are stupid can't help it and those who want to act stupid can't be helped.Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh

RIPLife is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead

We miss them, even if we didn't know them personally. A lot of us in the consulting trade lost people we did know personally. So very pointless. RIPNo matter where you go, there you are. - Buckaroo Banzai

I still haven't made up my mind about 11/9. It's always a bad thing when people die, and I feel bad for those who did, but I don't know about the bigger picture. Does your response to 11/9 feel... hollow to you?Graffiti in a public toilet

Where were you . . . .
on 9/11/2001?
I was an undergraduate student who had just moved on campus after being back from Ecuador overseas studies trip month and half before Sep. 11. This was also a couple months after my partner's suicide, which happened while I was still overseas.
So when 9/11 terrorist attacks happened, I was going through a painful personal crisis of my own, and then fiinding myself shocked and overwhelmed with what had happened in New York, Washington DC, and rural Pennsylvania. That morning, I was having breakfast in the university cafeteria when someone turned all the mounted televisions to a news channel. I saw the smoking towers of World Trade Center . . .A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.
