That is my primary concern in all this, but I think that Iran leadership knows that if they do that, all out destruction for them is inevitable. Last resort act of a dying man if they were to do it. And regime change and threats to the leaderships lives make it more, not less, likely.

I'm heartened that the supreme leader seemingly remains alive. smart move on Israel's part has he really doesn't have any strategic value except as neck for Israel to keep a sword of Damocles hovering over. That surely reduces the odds Iran triggering the US president into larger scale stupidity.

The West, led by the US, has killed over 5 million people in the Middle East since 2003 and they are calling Iran a threat to world peace. Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons, but they have materials for dirty bombs. Even if the Iron Dome blows up the delivery device, the material would still be dispersed.

We just essentially set off dirty bombs in their territory. If we invade they'll have no reason to hold anything back.

The Iraq war was stupid and evil, this is even dumber, they can realistically make a few cities radioactive for 1000s of years.

Not sure of the specifics but it won't surprise me if the response involves shipping containers and drones.
