It's essentially the last date for Trump to convince state legislatures to seat Trump-loyal electors to the Electoral College (rather than those empaneled by the state's certified vote totals). If there are multiple sets of electors, deciding which is legit happens in court. So far, no state has taken the bait, but the date is still important: After Tuesday 12/8, it's too late for that strategy.

In the case of the elections, however, the outcome is clear as day. Georgia was recounted TWICE.

It was a clear stalling tactic that FAILED.

There are DC court systems that are able to bypass all the appeals gaming, so you could see that as an outcome during the prosecutions next year, along with whatever the New York AG and Manhattan DA have as well.

I think the reason the Pentagon and Trump refuse to give Biden the intel meetings is because of the intel that they are acting on, and will be or is reported to SCOTUS when the time comes.
