Ben is not a smart person. California has never been any where remotely close to bankruptcy. It has has steady surpluses since 2011 as we voted out all the Republicans in Nov 2010 as we were pissed off that the Republicans preferred shutting down the government and refusing to pass budgets rather then actually doing their ****ing jobs. Ever since the state Republican Party was voted out of existence it has been smooth sailing.

Of course, Ben is a dullard so actually knowing anything about the subject is not to be expected from him.

Zero Hedge is a batshit insane Austrian school finance blog run by two pseudonymous founders who post articles under the name "Tyler Durden," after the character from Fight Club. It's essentially apocalypse porn. It has accurately predicted 200 of the last 2 recessions.[citation NOT needed]

So people can learn how seriously to take Ben and his source.

isn't wiki open to the same criticism? I thought people were allowed to edit pages or something.

Here's a great chart to show you were not to live. See that big zero? You don't want to live in those places. They are hellholes. The bigger the number the better! That's why you want that 13.3 percent!

Dry, these are just state taxes. There are Federal taxes on top of that.

Ben is not a smart person. California has never been any where remotely close to bankruptcy.
Given that the average state has taxes around 5 percent and California has theirs around 13.5 percent. Sure.

And now you guys have the highest state taxes in the nation. How's that workin' out for you?

California's economy is on fire but the state's finances are another story. The state is facing a revenue slowdown and calls from the governor to avoid major new spending programs.

As I predicted the budget 'surplus' was ephemeral. It had to do with one-time tax increases.

There's a June 15 deadline for the legislature to adopt a new state budget — and it comes as the governor's May revision warns that the state's commitments in coming years "will exceed expected revenues" to the tune of more than $4 billion by fiscal 2019-20.
Of course, Ben is a dullard so actually knowing anything about the subject is not to be expected from him.

Moody's Investors Service conducted a "fiscal stress test" on the nation's four most populous states and found California's preparedness for a recession "weaker" than the others. It cited the Golden State's highly volatile tech industry and California's reliance on personal income taxes, particularly from top earners
                  Maybe I don't but I bet Moody's does.

Like your "Gay" friends that you refuse to grant equal rights to legally marry as you can. (not talking about a RC church wedding)

prop 13 limited California's property taxes so the politicians went for higher income taxes I guess

You're talking about catholic priests, right? Dressed in robes, softening their voice to sound least manly possible, interested in other men...
that you refuse to grant equal rights to legally marry as you can.
I knew you were talking about RC priests. They are indeed forbidden to marry. But that's RC business, I don't care.

No, Ben once claimed to have Gay friends while still exposing his bigotry towards them, demonstrating that he had no concept of what friendship really is and was just using them as props for his argument. There is no other person I know that has real Gay friends and doesn't support legal gay marriage.
