Estimates range from 2/3rds to 95% of applicants for asylum being fake. They are simply economic migrants and not refugees. They are abusing the refugee system to get around the regular immigration system. Thieves, liars, and con arts are what the vast majority of them are. EU officials admitting "hardly any" of the migrants meet the legal definition of a refugee. The overwhelming number are simply economic migrants pretending to be refugees in order to cheat the system.

There are massive, massive flaws in the system so much that virtually the entire thing needs to be scrapped in order to eliminate the out of control fraud and abuse.

A good article from the leftwing publication The Atlantic about how the massive overwhelming problem of fraud in the asylum system. Even left of center folks are figuring out fraud and abuse is undermining their goals. Read the whole thing, it is sympathetic to asylum seekers (it is a left wing publication after all) but gives a hint of how the fraud problem is completely out of control.

Well, your claim was, that 90-95% of the applicants are economic migrants.
That is still far away from the estimates of the UNHCR

This EU official is off by half but even when he is trying to minimize the problem to make it as small as possible even he has to admit "at least 60%" are economic migrants not refugees.

So i absolutely stand by that. Nothing but a tiny minority of applicants are actual refugees and even those few real refugees are going from one safe place to another trying to shop for better welfare benefits.

It is sad how ar some ignorant people will go to avoid an uncomfortable truth. Personally, I think all truth should be embraced, especially uncomfortable truths which challenge our world views, because that is the only way we get good fat based policies. The hard truth is the vast majority applying for refugee status are fraudsters, fakes, and con artists. That is just reality.

Wrong. There is a whole range of numbers with low counters, the absolute smallest estimate, being 60% while high counters have estimates in the 90% and above range. All agree, even the worst enabling apologists, that the MAJORITY are frauds, fakes, liars, and cheats trying to game the system for personal financial gain and nothing else.

You are just the dope who is enabling these criminals and who makes excuses for them. That is a bad thing and you should stop doing that.

Now, moving on to the question of if these fraudsters and cheats who are pretending to be refugees help or hurt a country economically... Germany, whose government tends to lie and exaggerate for obvious political reasons (the government has been repeatedly caught falsifying official statistics in order not make her policies looks so bad, thus why other parties have been gaining votes)... Even they claim only 13% have done any work at all in Germany. Remember if they get some sort of work for four hours and get some cash charity gig that counts as part of the 13% even if they only work 4 hours per YEAR.

So the vast majority of these young adult males are just sitting on welfare. They are a near complete dead weight lose to the economy and that is unlikely to change significantly 5, 10, 15, or even 20 years from now. They truly are just welfare migrants looking for free stuff and who suppliments their welfare by committing crimes.

Yeah, not who should be invited in. Not at all.

I don't dispute that there are problems with refugeees (which, btw. is double sided ... there have also been idiots on the german side, who throw stones at refugee or refugee homes, or try to set them ablaze). I also don't dispute that there were failures that have been made (for example Merkel, at the beginning of the refugee crisis, letting people in withoe deportation plane ... it ut too many checks, was a failure ... likewise the process of deportation is a little bit clumsy and could be improved (currently, for example, a deportee can resist deportation (for some while) by just refusing to fasten his seatblets in the deportation plane ... IMHO it should be possible, in this case, to just handcuff him and fasten the seatblets for him)

But in contrast to youi, I don't try to blow the problem out of proportion, just in order to justify my xenophobia
