I've gotten **** done, result oriented, fast, good track record, developed actionable technology for mil. I'm on the high spectrum of salary in here, so I've got an option to become a manager (not interested, unless it's my own way, not happening in Finland with the strict laws). My biggest accomplishmhents include killing old technologies and replacing them with cutting edge; this has already saved us (bank) a few million euros in the last 3 years while raising our capabilities (resulting into mitigating several attacks), and the latest stuff I am doing is basic infrastructure stuff, that starts to save over a million per year starting the first of next month, as we can get rid of licenses, and kill old crap that never worked. So, my strength is identifying things that actually don't work, kill them, and replace them with stuff that works, and save money doing it.

It's just basic stuff really, but most people are not good with it. I could not give two ****s about Gartner reports, or what's cool with the consultants, I build stuff that works under fire. So it works well in peace time as well. Loved by peers, and some directors, hated by consultants, competition and advesaries. I can't write malware, and am poor at detecting true APTs (disclaimer: they cannot be detected), but I personally know APTs. I have beers with them. The people, I mean. I'd say with confidence I am one of the best connected people I know and I move behind the curtain. If someone needs a competent person to lead and do their defence, who knows business, then I'm your guy. I usually turn down opportunities and am not a supervisor by nature. I bring people with me, who bring tools and vision, and then trust them.

In short: I make a hell of a lot less than I should. I've asked for a raise, and did not get it due to company policy. This is true and they know I'll walk out when a suitable opportunity presents itself. I will not join the military, and require degrees of freedom. In other words, a pain in the ass, but also efficient. I can build SOC, hybrid SOC. I dream of building a hybrid SOC across the western hemisphere with capabilities in the East as well. I do not see a point in building follow the sun model, I'd rather operate one or two SOCs with 24/7 staff.

I ask to be paid accordingly, starting from 200k a year with benefits. That and above I will listen. I am willing to ditch my company and others and commit, but I will consider strict and old dinosaur company culture a deal breaker as well as lack of trust. Most of my methods are unconventional and I'd rather not spend time explaining them at meetings. Oh, and I hate meetings. So, do we have something? I have personal recommendations from all the things I've mentioned. And every bit of this is true.

I'm also able to provide jobs. I know didley **** about the Philippine labor market. You can be an incredible help if you are able to navigate the organization through the red tape. If I want to build hundreds of miles of transmission lines up and down the west coast of the US, connecting Portland to Seattle to California markets... I want you to do all the grunt work to make sure I can do that.

Tell me what it costs.

I will provide it. I will manifest it. I will twist the arm of every investor until they say yes. I will hang them upside down, in a manner of speaking, and shake every penny. I will get local governments to give me tax credits. We are interested in urban development. Our ownership group is minority owned and operated.

I am interested in shipping heavy equipment internationally. I need people who speak Chinese languages. I need people who have experience doing business in China. I need people with experience getting equipment and machinery from one continent to another.

If it costs less (in as long a period as 5-10 years), to create a business that provides that service at lower cost to us "in house" than we can find on the open market, then we will build that business from the ground up to accomplish the task at hand.

Don't worry about anything else but your job.

I've figured everything out.

I need to build my network of contacts and professionals. Your friends and coworkers... if they are worth having, bring them on board.

We are going to build a lot of things. I need contractors. I need people who manage small teams of unskilled labor. I need taskmasters to keep the work flowing.

I need people to hire the office staff.

I need people to train everyone.

I need people to be my sales force, selling the various goods and services.

No, but then, I like living in Texas, I like teaching in a Catholic private High school, and I'm quite satisfied with my current boss. Why would I leave it for someone who's publicly quoted that he despises me and what I believe in? The only thing that would make that worth it would be a high level of compensation.
