Don't blame the voters for not wanting to vote for her. She was a terrible candidate.
Totally agree again, she was simply an awful pick, machine politics at its worst.

Based on what I've seen in my FB newsfeed the answer is "no they havent". Anyone who dislikes Clinton is a misogynist, and anyone who supports Trump is a racist, sexist ****bag.

And almost no acknowledgement that Clinton was a ****ty candidate and that the hubris of the Democratic Party insiders lost the election.

It's been a lot of years since the Democratic party represented the working class.

On the upside there's a lot of people on the left ready to engage in some brutal bloodletting in the DNC, and who now have some particularly powerful ammunition to do it with.

                  • 38% of American workers make less than $20k per year according to this, and 60% less than $40k per year.

Clinton had no message for them, other than "America is already great!, enjoy what you have as you will have even more of the same!"

My hope is that both parties will begin to move more to the center. In spite of all the rhetoric, I think Trump is probably a lot more centrist than a lot of the Republican candidates.

The government spends a lot of time talking about "extremists" overseas, but the people fail to realize that both parties are producing more "extremists" than I can ever remember.
"I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration." - Hillary Clinton, 2003

In the Democrats case, that also means moving left.

That's not really true, she did have policy ideas, they just were completely ignored.

                          • She had policy ideas.

She just focused on SJ issues and 'first woman president' issues and being Anti-Trump and didn't actually reach out to the depressed workers in the Rust Belt.
