Well Ben I must thank you. While I have not read The Book of Job yet (I will I have just been busy with work,) what I do know about it made me rethink a lot of things. Maybe it was not Beelzebub at all that showed me my new life-changing philosophy, but God. After all that I did, I may still have been blessed.

I know how Beelzebub works and I have come to the conclusion that it just could not have been him to open my eyes to the Universe and how my brain works on this level to change my whole life. He would have changed little things, gained my confidence over a long period of time, and made me dependent on his 'gifts' to continue to survive.

I would have not realized this if we had not had our little one-hour chat in the middle of the night.

Depends on how you define 'late'. Job is a very strange book. Personally, I'm of the opinion that it is as old as the Pentateuch, but not as old as the first parts of Genesis, which in all likelihood predate Moses and the Israelites.
