Yeah I live where most people live and where most of the jobs are. I don't want a seasonal oil job because that isn't stable employment... So I will pass on BC and impoverished Texas.

Why didn't you quote the Vatican? You might as well have quoted the Winnipeg statement.

        • Gee... just posting something from a legitimate Catholic Web Site...
And I found the same on many other official Catholic sites (actually, everyone that had a section on NFP)...

Sucks to be wrong doesn't it. NFP can be used to by Catholics to avoid having children while still engaging in sex...

          • For the record, I did realize my mistake with a certain city's location early on... But I went along with it because I can poke fun at myself. I am not a poor sport and childish, like one certain christian troll on here and Mr Orange hair.

I don't really know much about Canada... Besides from Montreal and I visited there a few years ago.

My point stands for both BC and ALBERTA. Lol. They don't have many gay people and both are politically quite conservative.

            • BC has been under the control of first the NDP and then the Liberal party since 1991. From my stay there (about a month) it is one of the more gay friendly states/provinces in North America. It was the second state/province to legalize same-sex marriage in North America.

              • Err, apparently the Liberal party in BC is the more conservative party there, with members voting for the national Liberals and Conservatives.

                • From what I recall both provinces did not vote for Trudeau and remain more conservative. But I could be wrong. My knowledge of Canada is limited. I focused more on European and Latin American politics during my studies.

                  • Conservatives were 3rd in BC, after the Liberals (1st) and the NDP (2nd).

                    • Saskatchewan and Alberta are the two conservative provinces.

                        • Yeah I guess.

Well, my point on same sex marriage does stand. Ben was trying to claim it has no benefit to the state and actually hurts marriage.

It really is a baseless argument, where evidence shows otherwise.

Btw, Ben could have been respectful and corrected me on a Canada's geography, but his immaturity did shine.

He could have, but that would have meant breaking his vow of deceit.
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

BC is very politically divided between Vancouver, which is more liberal than NYC and the rest of the province. The point is you don't know what you're talking about. I am from the conservative hinterland. As a whole - BC went Liberal last election, and isn't particularly known for their conservativism. Sections of the province, however, are.
