I need to say... I don't mean any offense to Canada. Large parts are very nice and pristine (same with California - though our climate is quite different... I love Joshua Tree). Montreal is a nice city. I also liked that Canada kicked that religious but Harper to the curb. Trudeau has already proven to be better IMO.
None of this changes the fact that Ben's argument is total BS. His argument about BC is hilarious, because even NYC proper (not counting the MSA) has twice the population as the entire province. There are obviously more gay couples living in a liberal open city than a conservative province like BC. BC is like the Canadian version of Texas.
