It DOES TEACH CATHOLICS HOW TO AVOID HAVING CHILDREN. You should read up on it. I've looked at many Catholic web sites on family planning, and they are quite clear about how to use to avoid conception. More faithfulness among married homosexual couples (duie to the psychological factor of being married) -> less risk of STDs among married homosexual couples -> more productivity among homosexual couples (compsared to those with STDs), as they have less days they miss at work due to STDs

Also, as laid out in the post before, homosexual couples can have children of their own (and raise them), by using a subset of the same techniques that heterosexual couples can use if one of them is infertile. Therefore, even under the aspect of procreation, the state can benefit from married homosexual couples (and can, in these regards, actually benefit more from married homosexual couples than from heterosexual couples where both parts of the couple are infertile )

This is actually a substantial drain on scarce resources - one of the most expensive public health costs.

Therefore, even under the aspect of procreation, the state can benefit from married homosexual couples (and can, in these regards, actually benefit more from married homosexual couples than from heterosexual couples where both parts of the couple are infertile )

In actuality, the state would not be gaining anything - but it would be spending tremendous amounts of money that could be put to better use.
