I'd love a list since you're asserting that this was common practice. It was not. Yes, there were occasionally very young betrothals, but they wouldn't necessarily end up married to that person, and they wouldn't live or sleep with the girl until she was older than 12. There's only one example among the English Kings, and that is Isabella of Valois. Who's husband Richard II died imprisoned in France when she was 9.
