God never said that Satan deceived Adam and Eve in the garden - that's something you made up on your own and are now falsely claiming to be God's word. You've got a bad habit of doing this.

It's very simple: you can either a. cite the chapter and verse in the Bible where it says that Satan deceived Adam and Eve (or equivalently, where it says that Satan was the serpent), b. reveal the name of the other source of divine revelation that you're using to come up with this information (note: "everybody thinks it's so!" doesn't count as divine revelation), or c. stop being a dumbass.

You either don't understand the answer I'm giving you, or you're just pretending to not understand. There is no deception without Satan. Curious, who is Satan to you, I mean according to the Bible.

Where in the Bible does it say this? Please cite chapter and verse.

Satan was charged by God in tempting mankind - this is best exemplified in the book of Job. He wasn't some sort of prince of Hell or whatever, that was invented later by Milton - instead he was completely subservient to God. Therefore it is more accurate to say "there is no deception without God," because if God is omnipotent then there can't be anything without his approval / direction. By empowering Satan with your non-existent Bible verses you're really just disempowering God.

I don't have copy paste on this device, but that makes it crystal clear who the serpent is.

                You're contradicting yourself.

Satan rebelled against God and so was cut off from His wisdom and goodness. So yes, evil.

Rather odd that Adam and Eve didn't think anything was amiss with a snake that had seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns giving them culinary advice

So you believe that Satan deceives mankind without God's permission/acquiescence, i.e. that God is powerless to stop Satan?

It doesn't matter how strange he was. They didn't believe that they were created in God's image anyway. It's called an easy sell.

God is going to stop Satan. Didn't I just post a verse stating that directly?

I gave you an obvious answer to your question. Is there any other possibility other than they believed what they wanted to believe? That's what we all do.

No. He's waiting. God does everything in the correct season.

Yeah, you pretty much exemplify this. "I only believe stuff that's in the Bible. And also stuff that I wish were in the Bible but isn't actually in the Bible."

So, God wants Satan to deceive mankind.
