No. You missed my point. He's creating a leftist church.
Mhmm. I think your opposition is that he's creating a church for leftists. Those are two different things. Shouldn't we welcome commies into our midst?

I explained what's wrong with it. It creates division and conformity. It creates a political organization, not a church.
Is it not Christ who says, "I come not to bring peace, but a sword". Christ fosters division in asserting the truth, in cleaving the sheep from the goats.

No. We should not target communists. That's ridiculous. Then you are just going to have a bunch of communists at church because they will offend all the normal people who will go find another church.

He's talking about being a radical Christian, not a political extremist.

That;s exactly what a communist pope would want you to think.

Jesus: "Sell all your **** and look after the poor and needy"
Pope: "Hey, maybe people should occasionally concentrate more on looking after the poor than which new car to buy?"
Kid: "The pope is a ****ing liberal communist who should concentrate on religion!"

Sometimes I actually wish religion was real, just so I could watch Jesus return to earth and kick the **** out of the likes of you and Ben.

While that indeed would be awesome, I think you misunderstand the concept of grace .
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Grace requires the desire to be forgiven, and I can imagine some Christians refusing to ask for forgiveness from Hippie Jesus.

No. (Not in every tradition at any rate) Jesus asked for forgiveness for the soldiers who crucified Him - they were not looking for forgivenness.

Do these traditions have a hell, and if so then who goes to hell if everybody is forgiven whether they wanted to be forgiven or not?

When that part of the Bible was read during mass during my Catholic upbringing, the emphasis on that passage was "Forgive them for they know not what they do," i.e. the sin was ignorant rather than malicious and hence wasn't a mortal sin, whereas a mortal sin would still require one to seek forgiveness. I never read up much on the other denominations and their take on things.
