Yes. And? I'm supposed to stop being Catholic because people suck? Wow. That's, like, totally deep, man.

Can we at least find a better source that actually says that?
He has shared ideas with leftists, exactly as people who are against abortion have shared ideas with the rightwing. In fact, he basically said you aren't a Christian, since you're about as rightwing as they come. Yet you are defending him? Wtf?!

Do you have a quote for that? It's not in the source here. I was a bit surprised by that when I actually clicked on your link.

Well, the argument seems to be a difference of opinion between what Kidicious believes the pope said and what he actually said.

I generally avoid being on the same side as Kidicious' head canon.

I'm the one arguing that Conservatives don't have an ideology.

That's only because you don't agree with him. It's like how only liberal judges are activists.

A truer example of such ideology is those Catholic republicans who say "conservativism first, Catholicism second."

the idea of communism is a good one ...
its execution by Lenin, Stalin & Co however just established the 2 classes society that they were meant to abandon,
with the upper class just changing to now be the elite of the communist party ...
not to mention the lies of one layer of soviet leadership to the next upper one ...
and the 5 years plans which either left the workers bored ... or were so utopian that they weren´t to fulfill

But principially, if executed correctly, the communist idea (of shared property within the society) has the potential to create a better society than the idea of capitalism

I'm going to follow in Marx's footsteps by publishing a book about how people should just get along with each other or some other moderately-to-severely naive utopian ideal. Later, a politician will decide to put the ideals set down in my book in practice by encouraging everybody to just get along with each other; people who can't get along with others (oddly, all of this politician's opponents will fall into this category) get executed. Finally, I'll be branded one of the most evil people in history because I wrote a book about how people should just get along with each other which somehow encouraged people to murder each other instead.

Because the term is being used in regards to the Pope, who doesn't seem to want to murder millions of people?

Of course he's ideological, he's the head of a religion. You can't get any more ideological than that. The idea that him actually preaching the message of the religion he's the head of being somehow hypocritical is just stupid.

COckney seemed to be saying he might be a communist. He's a leftist. I'm counting socialist/progressive as leftist.

All leftism is horrible, because leftists are horrible. Most have a mental illness.
