I won't buy it at launch though, that's for sure.

I'm pretty sure that most good mods will be free

I won't buy any game that does this... Paid mods from users, like in the steam workshop... 99 cents for my mod!!! Buy now

              Nope.

              Never.

I'll give up gaming before I do that

Yeah. I'm sure that there will be a way to use mods besides steam, unless they severly change the way their game works...

Didn´t Steam already row back and abandoned the "paid mods"-model?
(after seeing how badly this model was receiv ed by players)

They took a step back, but that doesn't mean they won't try again. Skyrim had an existing established modding scene, FO4 won't.

FO4 has all the established FO3 and NV modding scene. In any case, the problem will only be if all modders suddenly decide to make mods for cash, which IMHO won't happen, ever.

The only mod i'd pay for is the one that fixes all the ****ing bugs bethesda is too lazy to patch on their own. I liked Skyrim and played a bunch of it, but jesus christ, bethesda needs to hire some testers. I'm not sure I can put up with another broken game.

Not to mention Skyrim was as balanced as Ted Kaczynski.

Hopefully, Bethesda learned some lessons from Obsidian and New Vegas. It was much more balanced than Fallout 3. More everything, really--more weapons, armors, quests, characters, factions, decisions, crafting. Better written, better companions, it goes on and on.

The trailer looks dope as hell, though, especially the uncompressed HD version.

This, and I have bought very few games over the last few years at full price and FO3 and FO NV were two of them.

I find HCs comments strange; played mod-free Skyrim for 200+ hours; found no bugs?
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

Well, no crashes to desktop at least, but there was the occasional graphical glitch or character getting stuck.

Speculation is that FO4 will release on 23 October, which in Fallout lore is the Day The Bombs Fell.

I think I might be taking the last week in October off from work. Side bonus, I won't have to get dressed up for the office for Halloween.
