i've thought about that before, just going into a confessional booth and making up some outrageous stories (and then father they brought in the goats and things started to get really wild...). i've never done it though, and i expect they have some way of limiting that kind of thing.

I didn't take anything as a dig. That was just my way of saying that it's ludicrous for you to tell me how a priest should behave. I hang around with priests every week, and generally like them; you think they're peddling lies. Whatever clergyman you had growing up, if any, didn't do such a stellar job keeping you in the church. It's like a teetotaler lecturing me on the qualities that make a good scotch.

There's nothing special about priesthood. Even children know what priests do. You don't possess any super secret knowledge about priests.
