About the ethnic greeks not wanting to fight, I did a search and turns out Donesk region is where the majority of greeks in Ukraine are located.
So it makes sense, to me at least.

And there are around 100.000 ethnic greeks in Ukraine but the real number is multiple times that because they have married ukranians etc you know how it goes.
