As it should be. The threat is..."We will defend NATO" Same threat as always, but with a little underlining now.

      A stone cold fact!

Unless you mean it as a threat, it's not very reassuring.
Like everything it is a compromise. If you do nothing then your allies start to question your commitment but if you do too much then Vlad gets a propaganda hay day. So you offer some tokens as a sign of your continued engagement and realize the Russian military knows it is no threat to them even if the dictator for life keeps making propaganda out of it.

The fact is, i said it will be a "Spanish civil war" scenario even before it started in Donetsk/Luhansk. It was kinda obvious.

So i'm not sure what "it" i'm "denying". After all, i predicted "it" before it even started.

I may not agree with Western choice of words, like "invading Donbass" - it didn't happen, just like USSR didn't "invade" Spain in a Spanish civil war, and USSR didn't "invade" Vietnam in a Vietnamese war against USA. But that doesn't mean that i'm "denying" the whole thing.

                      • Are the protests in Armenia simply about an electricity price hike, or are they the start of a new Ukraine-style revolution. The Kremlin doesn’t appear to be

Putin is getting nervous again as anti-government protests spread in Armenia. Armenia's autocratic government has been the most pro-Kremlin in the region but it is also beset with graft, corruption, and cronyism just like Russia. People are also upset that the Russian owned nation electric utility suddenly decided to increase prices 22%. Putin is making lots of speeches and it is clear he fears yet another friendly government getting removed by citizens angry about corruption, mismanagement, and incompetence.

Not sure if it is the same word in Russian, but do you find "Jeb" Bush to be funny?
