      1) Station is station.
      3) How about Lenya Goizman, Borya Nadejdin, Ryzhkov, Ira Hakamanda, Mike Bom, all that Ukrainian talking heads I don't recall names of (perhaps only Koftun and Yana Belkovskaya), etc, the name for them is "LEGION", who are constantly on the daily basis spread their anti-Putin and anti-Russian sh!t from the MAINSTREAM Russian TV-channels in an open discussions during prime time?
      4) Could you imagine in CNN studio anyone like, idk, Kurginyan with a strict pro-Russian position during a prime time in an open debates?
That's not possible, 'cause they just don't want to hear the other side. And at the same time they call themselves "free".

Tell me, Americans, how many RUSSIAN experts with Russian position you had/have in you shows (in mainstream media) wrt Ukraine/Syria topic?
      Names please!

        • I guess Putin himself doesn't count as an expert by your definition then.
He was interviewed. I'll concede that the edit was a bit of a hack job but any American with half a brain was able to find the entire interview on-line.

I can repeat that for you for a 101st time - my English is limited by my Soviet education. I have never studied your language on purpose. All I know about English is what they taught me in my Soviet school and post-Soviet University. I know it's crappy, but that's all I have. Sue the basic Soviet education system.

You don't understand the scale. Of course he was interviewed! Once in a year? Or a five years? Or ten? Please, remind me. In any case - that was quite an event for the Western media!

But we here, (esp. when that **** had started in Ukraine) have DAILY talk shows on prime time on all our major TV-channels, with dozens and dozens of all kinds of anti-Putins talking for hours.
              The scale is the difference.

Then I change my statement to "You used your small ones to claim variety."

Yes, I don't want your English to be an issue. I appreciate that you use English. I can't do Russian.

Then you don't watch enough Western Media. For EVERY story they're pulling out some Academician with a contrary opinion.

And for the Record you said zero, and when I listed the most obvious one, you immediately started backtracking.

Just like Putin backtracked when he was proven to be lying about no russian soldiers being used in crimea before its annexation

That "Academician" is still an American. We call in our studios an actual Americans to hear their position. You don't trust me - ask Onodera. Damn, I can easily prove that with youtube. Our major most popular talk shows are debates over Americans+their local lackeys vs. the rest. But you don't do that. At best you can call Saims or Cohen (btw, how often you do?), but despite my respect to them - they are not Russian, but Americans, and their position is mediocre at best. They can't tell you the whole truth, no matter how they would like to.

The Russian soldiers have been in Crimea since 1783.

They have never left it since then.

My grandfather was one of those soldiers in 1944. He was busy killing "your grandfathers" defending the Sapoon hill, though your ancestors did wound him during the process.
There is an obelisk dedicated to all units who liberated Sevastopol from the nazis in 1944 and the 33rd Guards Rifle Division is carved on it.

And when I was in Crimea in early 2000's - that was a Russian place. RUSSIAN, gad damn you!!! With Russian flags everywhere and no Ukrainian flags.
Those people, the Crimeans have NEVER considered themselves a part of Ukraine. They were always considered themselves as part of Russia. And I have seen that with MY OWN EYES BACK THEN.
Now, that injustice done first by Khrushev in 1954, then by Eltsin in 1991 in undone.

                              PERIOD.

What Putin have said before the referendum was basically "go, ahead, prove it, they are Russians".
Whatever forces we have used to provide the security during the referendum were stationed there legally in accordance with a treaty we had with Ukraine.

I don't think it makes that big a difference on most topics. On some yes.
When someone comes on and says the invasion of IRAQ was the worst policy decision ever, I don't care that he's not an IRAQI. I still listen to his opinion and take it into consideration.
The same with most other experts. And in some cases I'm sure the expert is better versed than the common Russian on the streets.
