Well, rome was known to raze conquered cities (Karthago for example)
Rome also was known for rulers who killed their opposition (Augustus Caesar for example was known to expropriate his critics within the government and wealthy people and the murder of Cicero surely also happened with Augustus knowledge after all he was on Augustus proscription list and therefore vogelfrei).
Rome was also known for a lot of other rulers who weree corrupt or not known to be good examples for sanity

You still don't get it that I can watch CNN as well as major German, French main news channels here at my flat in the middle of Siberia, just like any other Russian elsewhere in the country? I have 250+ TV channels (basic package) + 100mbps for less than 10$ a month. And about a, idk, a quarter of those channels are YOUR, WESTERN mainstream media.
