Ukraine is also a nice country. You could go there as a volunteer to see how normal people live.

Winnipeg is about -30°, closer to -40° with windchill... cool enough? If not, there's always Churchill, MB. It's usually about 10 degrees cooler, and has polar bears.

I liked Lauterbrunnen better than Geneva and I liked Lucca better than Florence. I did like Hamburg better than Karlsruhr, so I guess I have low statistics.

Is Lauterbrunnen the place south of Interlaken with the really god damn deep canyon? I've seen pictures of that place and it looks really damn cool.

I've been interested in going to Eastern Europe, but more like Poland, not Ukraine. Sorry onodera.

Visit Tuscany (Florence and Sienna are amazing, especially uif you read up a bit on their history) or Greece (mainland as well as Crete) and tatse the birthplaces of our Western culture...

Enjoy the laid back atmosphere of the provence for a few days (not the coast but the hinterland is quite nice)...

Southern Spain has some amazing cities (I liked Cordoba a lot) with a lot of stories attached to them...

Visit the low lands (Belgium and the Netherlands) for a more northern cultural atmosphere.

          Possibilities are endless.

I just at got back from two weeks in South Africa. It was an amazing trip and we went around the country. Best resort hotels, safaris, whale/shark diving, beaches, lots of history, etc. for two of us it cost about 11k but you as young single dude could do in much cheaper

Why leave the best country in the world? HC, you should go somewhere in America! Show your patriotism!

There's a U.S. base in Antarctica. Go there.

There's a Christmas tree somewhere in London with a bunch of presents underneath it that'll never be opened. And I thought, if I survive all of this, I'd go to that house, apologize to the mother there, and accept whatever punishment she chose for me. Prison... death... didn't matter. Because at least in prison and at least in death, you know, I wouldn't be in ****in' Bruges. But then, like a flash, it came to me. And I realized, **** man, maybe that's what hell is: the entire rest of eternity spent in ****in' Bruges. And I really really hoped I wouldn't die. I really really hoped I wouldn't die.

Well, if you're ok with America, I would say take a trip to Texas. Texas is awesome. There are some really nice spots in San Antonio with the Missions, and in Austin with the Capitol building.

Spending a month or two in Europe after you graduate is a traditional American rite of passage. Get thee a Euro Rail pass and a backpack.
