Question: They call themselves the Islamic State. I gather Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was a former name and one that most of the press and public uses. Where did ISIL come from and why did it gain such currency with the American government over the groups actual name?I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara

Is it because you believe that America is the moral equivalent to ISIS?
I do condemn ISIS.
the notion that it is representative of the billions of Muslims across the world
There have been 23k Islamic terrorist attacks worldwide since 9/11. Twenty-three thousand. Now, I can accept your argument. However, given that there have been 23 thousand, about 5 Islamic terrorist attacks every single day, that's an awful large chunk of Muslims, whom ISIS actually does represent.
Twenty-three thousand, the largest of which is today - on 9/11. Suppose you're right. Suppose we can attribute this to individuals that have absolutely no connection with Islam whatsoever. It's all madness and bloodthirst, love of combat and love of killing. But not Islam.
Let me ask a simple question - what would it take for you to conclude that Islam is the problem? Is there any circumstance that would cause you to doubt your thesis?Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

JFC Ben, I really shouldn't lower myself but:
No, I don't think the USA is the moral equivalent of ISIL.
I condemned ISIL where I said "I condemn ISIS". It was the first time it came up, and it was a non-sequitur in any case.
Let me see, 23K/2.1B = 0.001%. Not bad going, especially in the face of continual, blatant hostility from the likes of you. So yes, I'd say it's a peaceful religion.
I'm done responding to your BS for a while.

That inherent violence is what makes it so much worse and more objectionable than the other religious nonsense.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Oh, and let's not forget that across the.Midwest 50% feel that people should be killed for drawing a cartoon about their original cult leader. Again Maher directly deals with this issue so actually watch the video.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

"Saudi Arabians perform beheadings too". The USA is one of the few western nations with capital punishment. Strawman.
