At the time? You're arguing that my bias would come about prior to my experiences. This isn't true. My opinion changed because of my experiences.

The last three tokers in my life, one assaulted me, one I tried to help, but decided that toking was more important than getting off the street, and one came out of rehab successfully.

One was a landlady, one an ex bf of the landlady and another was a friend that I tried to help them get back on track.

My experiences have just reinforced that I want to stay as far away from the drug as possible.

My best friend cheated with my girlfriend once. Which I consider much worse then not wanting to hang out with me. Over time I forgave him and we were friends again before he died. (I was his best man at his wedding) Much better then hating all my friends because one betrayed me once.

Yeah, that would be a tough one to forgive and look past.

Just admit that you have an unfair bias against all tokers because you can't get over the fact that you had a bad experience with just two. Even you know that's too small a sample to judge anything.

Pot use is both property and liberty, so if this is an enumeration of our right to eat food its also an enumeration of our right to use pot.

What's so strange about it? Someone who's been robbed, more than once by specifically black people, I would expect them to be more cautious.

I've had 5 or so tokers in my life that have either stolen from me, assaulted me, or otherwise gave me a negative impression of their lives to make me want to steer a clear berth. Not a fan of pot.

We aren't talking just 1 or 2. But 5.

I'm not sure where we got from this to, "Ben himself hates people."

Recall - I helped someone who specifically was a substance abuser and tried to get them off the street. Only to have them go around and say they preferred being able to toke up.

Would I do this if I were someone who sincerely hated dope users or someone who just hated dope?

Bee tee dubs, BK will get out of this by saying that he's taking prejudice to mean "pre judging" people, instead of what we all know he really means, which is that it's okay to hate black people/pot smokers as long as you have an excuse for doing so.

If someone came up to me and said they'd been victimized by black people in the past, I'd attribute their general apprehension to black people in general to their prior victimization, not to prejudice.

If it came out that they had the same attitude prior, I would shift my opinion.
