Being a dealer and a user is self-limiting. If you're going to act as a distributor and not produce, your supplier won't be happy if you dip into his inventory. If that individual is growing, he's likely not about to go stealing snowblowers. What's a snowblower, $200? What's the resale value on a stolen snowblower? $5, $10?

Nothing about his scenario makes sense. I wonder if it's a figment of his imagination. Or maybe the incident happened and he just decided to find a convenient scapegoat.

Since you believe they cost 200, we can safely assess that your knowledge of them is precisely nil. Good ones are expensive. My father favored the larger gas powered ones (we had a driveway several hundred feet long to clear).

Looking back at it, my father was not well adapted to the area. Folks who had grown up there, all mounted plows to their truck. Sweet, simple and much easier than doing it by hand. Of course that was too 'redneck'.

And for the record. I've owned my snow blower for over a decade and if someone asked me what the serial numbers was, I would have no clue. I couldn't find the original records if my life depended on it. And my driveway is over a hundred feet long and I had a really nice snow blower, and it only cost $450 bucks back then.

If this was when you were younger, 3 grand would have paid for a tractor.

It was actually a gift for my dad.

As for the pot dealer - yeah, there's a reason he ended up leaving the neighbourhood. It was a nice neighbourhood eventually folks got sick and tired of him and he left because he got tired of 'being harassed'.
