Meh, this particular guy is in the process of proving his ancestors owned the land (though I do wonder why he doesn't have current tax records since the 1960's because if I didn't pay my property taxes for even one year I'd lose my house yet they apparently haven't paid them for half a century) but that doesn't change the facts I posted about. It is a fact that the vast, vast, vast majority of Palestinians have never had any legal right to the land they have built on and instead are just squatters and I have absolutely no problems with removing squatters or knocking down their squatter settlements.

Nope. If they have title documents, as in the example in the OP, the great bring them forward and pay complete back taxes but if they don't then they're just squatters and need to get tossed.

BTW there should also be a deadline like all old ownership claims must registered in the system with in one year and all taxes paid (with interest and penalties for late payment) by the end of the process. Can't pay? Tough ****, next time pay your damn taxes on time.

Dip****, Antisemitism is contrary to the catechism of the catholic church. I went to a Passover seder the Easter when I was confirmed. With my priest, and with some very nice Jewish people.

I've always supported Israel. The only place in the middle east in which Christians are free to practice their religion is Israel. Christians residing in Israel need to get off their asses and support Bibi, and serve in the military.

Actually in the case of Texas and California it was bound in writing to honor all land grants previously issued by the Mexican government.

Nonsense. The Republic of Texas severed the Mexican government's claims to a vast expanse of land.

Considering that Steven Austin was the foremost private land owner at the time, it's not hard to see why the Republic of Texas chose to recognize some of the private claims to land in Texas.

The Republic then chose to sell a considerable portion of the land that it held to the United States in exchange for their debts, this included what eventually became parts of Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas Oklahoma and New Mexico.

I am extremely confused. Our resident fundamentalist Christian (who also hates big government) appears to be taking the side of another religions state government over those of lifelong Christians who embody everything Christianity preaches. What's more these Christians are even from the very place Jesus was born and lived. Could anyone explain what might possibly be making him not like these particular Christians?

Opposition to Israeli settlement in Israel is contrary to the general good and security of the state of Israel. I would argue, by extension, her rights to be a Christian and not beheaded by some Jihadi radical is because Israel is protecting her.

Settlement in Israel? This is happening in the West Bank, not Israel. For all this talk of treaties and law by oerdin and ben there is complete disregard for the lehal limits of Israel and the existence of Palestine as per the 1947 treaty.

And squatters? So who lived there before 1947? Where did the Palestinians come from?

I wonder about the logic to call Palestinians squatters. Are the Blacks of South Africa squatters?
