Fair enough. Time to educate the public on the importance of not leaving paper trails.

TDS w/ Jon Stewart had a funny insane gun owner versus sane gun owner bit on Monday's show.
To us, it is the BEAST.

Ok, for all the gun holders that continually fight for their rights to carry guns almost everywhere....

Let's name a few places where brandishing guns isn't allowed.

            I'll start.

NRA conventions. Hmm, do they not feel save when that many people are carrying?

Gun Shows. This just doesn't seem fair.

The Republican National Convention. (under the excuse that they have to protect high level people) I thought if there was more guns everyone is safer.

            Sometimes logic just isn't enough.

Wow, I really should attempt to bring a gun to the Republican National Convention and act really butthurt when they don't allow it.

A blunderbuss is technically a gun, right?

Imagine being the poor slob that would be required to tell you that it wouldn't be allowed. (maybe they'd just hire a Democrat to do it) I thought I was the only Republican that endorsed reasonable gun laws.

You are categorically not a republican by advocating for any gun laws except the 2nd amendment and the loosest interpretation of that amendment. They don't want your RINO **** Rah.

That's like ben telling me I'm not a catholic. I get to determine what I am, not anyone else.
And for the record, the republican party is happy to get my vote and money. They've never said NO

I support your right to self-identify.

I also support others' right to disagree with that identification.

I have no problem with people's opinions either. I get more irritated when declarations are made and not made as personal opinions. Mostly when Ben does the Catholic thing since he's one of the worst Catholics on the planet.

And for the record, just like there are some conservative democrats there are some quite moderate republicans. This 'right is repub' and 'left is dem' is an extreme that just isn't true.

But just so you can try to sabotage the primies, huh?

We've already solved that problem in California by having open primaries where everyone gets to vote for who they want and only the top two people in the group primary advance to the November election. This does have some problems like taking out all third party candidates. I honestly suspect that's exactly what the two parties wanted since for a decade prior to this change both parties would support a fringe candidate further to the extreme of the other guy hoping to split his votes.

Here is what I like about this - First I think "He is pretty ****ing bad - but this seems a bit like hyperbole" but then I think more and more about it and almost everything he does is in the name of Catholicism but rarely reflects anything beside self interest and outward antagonism to the rest of the world.
