    • They also draped a swastika. You can't get further apart in the meaning of those symbols.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Speaking of crazy sovereign citizens who go one shooting rampages... The Walmart shooting couple were also sovereign citizen right wing nutjobs who actually went out to the Bundy Ranch with the goal of shooting "Federal Agents" because Sean Hannity on Fox Noise told them too. Of course, like good right wing nutjobs they were also neo-Nazi white supremacists, NRA member gun extremists, loyal Fox watchers, and birthers.

From their original meanings, maybe, but not their current meanings. Especially since you get a large number of neo-Nazis at most tea party rallies. You may not like it but there is a hell of a lot of overlap between the white supremacist/neo-Nazis and the rest of the far right like the tea party.

          • I feel that it's possible the swastika is in reference to how they viewed police officers.

Supposedly both of them were white supremacists which makes sense because a lot of people in the militia movement are also white supremacists and the militia movement was big at the Bundy Ranch.

Surprisingly though he names Hitler as a dictator in unflattering tones in one of his youtube videos.

They fly a lot of American flags too. Should we take those at their original meanings, or their current meanings?

Sean Hannity didn't tell anyone to shoot federal agents. Where did you get that?

He kept egging them on and spending dozens and dozens of hours promoting that nonsense, practically urging them to violence, lying over and over again, even after he had been factually corrected by legal experts. You know what type of people Hannity's promotion of the Bundy Ranch thing attracted? Violent, mentally unstable people with guns including this guy and his wife who just shot several people.

                              • Hannity was indeed trying to provoke his mentally ill followers into violence. That's why he kept urging them "defend yourself" and talking about the supposedly tyrannical government and constantly claiming the Feds carrying out the court order were "Obama's armed goons". He even asked leading questions trying to get the militia nuts to promise violence.
