Love comes first. You're right though, I would want to be making significantly more than I do at present before marrying someone. I wasn't so much talking about my standards for myself.

Doesn't change my point. Love first, then marriage. I agree with you that financially I'm not ready to marry just yet, but that will change. I'm not sure why my marriage readiness has anything to do with love though. You can love someone while waiting to get married...

If you love a woman you better get married if you can. Otherwise I would find some faults with her so that you won't be in love with her. That's why Paul said if you can't control your passiins get married. It is not good to be in love. When you get married you will start to know that person with all their faults. Then you must love them. But if you are in love now it's just your passions.

Actually, yes. They have extreme opinions, but so do a lot of people on the internet. I've seen no indication that any of them have violent tendencies*. When it comes to Al, in particular, he seems to have an utterly rigid sense of honor and civic duty--hence the USMC infatuation--so I'd be astonished if he went psycho.

And doing dirty things to kids still doesn't sound as bad as shooting them, to me.

Crazed spree killers don't always go around beforehand threatening to kill people. I'd put both BK and Kid firmly in the camp of "Well we thought he was a bit odd, but we never expected.."
