I've been following that strategy for a good decade and a half. I figure if I keep at it, it's bound to work at some point.

When I first came here, this was all swamp. Everyone said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built in all the same, just to show them. It sank into the swamp. So I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp.Indifference is Bliss

You do not have them under control. Under control would mean you live a happy and fulfilling life. Your demons control you. And they will continue to control you until you get treatment."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

You actually have issues and need to get them addressed and fixed.

So now you are making light of your mental illness? You cry out about how terrible your desires are and then laugh it off when someone tells you to get help?"Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

Btw, Speer, my low opinion of myself was cemented a very long time ago, so you're not making it worse in any way, but in general your tactic here would be considered thoroughly unhelpful, and possibly even quite harmful, by mental health practitioners. Telling people who need help that they are different, that they're not like everybody else, that they need to get help immediately before the justice system gets involved... that's a fabulous way of making a person feel even more isolated, even more like they need to hide who they are, even more like they need to avoid treatment for fear of the consequences.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

And how much good has that mental health philosophy done you? There is no reason to coddle you and lie to you. You need direct intervention immediately."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
