Lesbians whores who want money and dick sound way more interesting.

Well, I won't try to convince you that the discussion is interesting, but it's at least more civilized (excluding the one guy who thinks any suggestion that the "woman warrior" trope can be over-sexualized is an attack on the pagan goddesses he worships).

Woman warrior? How is mythology informative?

The woman warrior stereotype. Think Wonder Woman or Lara Croft or Katniss Everdeen.

I'm not really sure how to answer your second question. At the very least, mythology informs us about myths. In terms of how it informs, say, writing, it provides us with potentially interesting themes to play with.

Feminists/Feminazis are annoying primarily because it's a way for upper middle class white girls in college to act like they deserve something special for the hardship they've been through. I don't really think people should get special treatment in general. The fact that it tends to come from a fairly affluent group just makes that much more grating.

I'm not famiar with that stereotype. Are we talking about feminism or just fiction writing?

My guess is you've only had experience with a very small, but vocal subset of what constitutes feminism. Feminism is about objecting to the terrible treatment of women in third world countries, objecting to pay differences within the same job in America, objecting to sexist attitudes that appear in our media, and a whole host of other wrongs, both small and large. Yeah, some feminists also think they deserve special treatment, but some Republicans also think Obama was born in Kenya. Who cares?

It's a stereotype that shows up in stories we tell, which is why I referenced fictional characters.

The pay differences in America are entirely explained by the fact that women take maternity leave. It's a complete myth. Furthermore, your thing about believing that women shouldn't get stoned to death for being raped isn't a feminist thing, it's a "normal person" thing. If what you say is true, everyone's a ****ing feminist, just like everyone is an abolitionist. But I don't go around bragging about how abolitionist I am. People who describe themselves as feminist are generally ****lords.

do you have some evidence to back this up with?

The pay gap is also explained by the fact that men are expected to provide for women. Feminists actually expect men to provide more than traditional ists do..

Wouldn't the expecatation that men provide for women come from the pay gap? Is this a chicken and egg thing?

The existence of slavery is largely ignored now although I'm pretty sure there are still activists concerned with stopping slavery.

That's because the existence of slavery is largely ignored now.
The expectation to provide for wome predates capitalism.

                              What is your pointabout slavery?

You seem to have become very aggressive about this very suddenly. My guess is you'll ignore evidence that contradicts your opinions, so all I have to say on the matter is this: I hope you someday meet and fall in love with a feminist, as that may be the only way you'll become receptive enough to learn otherwise. (This hasn't happened to me, btw, and I don't consider myself a feminist.)
