i know (IIRC a childless woman will make about 80% of what a man makes). i just wanted to see if they'd actually looked it up or were just repeating some BS they'd heard/read.

Err, where exactly ? We've had cases where children who've been victims of sex abuse have been described as 'provocative', that is to say, they must have been at least partly responsible. We had a notorious case in 1982 (which was actually filmed by a television crew making a documentary) of the Thames Valley police's appalling approach to the report of a rape. That's 1982, not 1922.

So, the most recent data I could find has some good news and some bad news. This article summarizes what I've been able to find. The good news is this: the median salary for childless, single women under 30 is 8% higher than it is for similar men. The difference is attributed to the fact that women of that demographic are more likely to have a college degree than the men are. The bad news is this: if you control for education (and everything else that usually gets controlled for), these women are still making less than men. A year after college, women make 6.6% less than demographically similar men.

It's part of the victim mentality that keeps them going.

I'm not familiar with that case. I hear feminists complain that cops don't take rape serious but you must realize that they believe that only 2 percent of rape cases are false. There is no scientific studies to confirm that statistic. The number might be as high as 50 percent.

Perhaps for jobs requiring manual labor, yes. But that's a small fraction of jobs in the United States these days.

Brains work differently and men have a different hormone balance.

Point me to a study demonstrating that the genetically determined neurological and hormonal differences between men and women affect productivity.

Kid's posts alone are a good argument for why feminism needs to continue to exist.

Can you show me a study that shows equal productiviity? In a capitalist system productivity pays.

I would think that if you can't prove that they are unequal that you shouldn't base their pay on that. Otherwise you must assume they're equal.
