Unfortunately, they'll claim that women choose lower paying jobs for various reasons and won't consider the (sometimes sexist) cultural forces that lead women to make such choices. We had a notorious case in 1982 (which was actually filmed by a television crew making a documentary) of the Thames Valley police's appalling approach to the report of a rape. That's 1982, not 1922.

So, the most recent data I could find has some good news and some bad news. This article summarizes what I've been able to find. The good news is this: the median salary for childless, single women under 30 is 8% higher than it is for similar men. The difference is attributed to the fact that women of that demographic are more likely to have a college degree than the men are. The bad news is this: if you control for education (and everything else that usually gets controlled for), these women are still making less than men. A year after college, women make 6.6% less than demographically similar men.

I'm not familiar with that case. I hear feminists complain that cops don't take rape serious but you must realize that they believe that only 2 percent of rape cases are false. There is no scientific studies to confirm that statistic. The number might be as high as 50 percent.

I would think that if you can't prove that they are unequal that you shouldn't base their pay on that. Otherwise you must assume they're equal.
