      • All the ice on the roads will probably melt this afternoon so clearly the answer is "we're all laughing at Ben".
        The answer is still Ben.

Or maybe it's colored by Russia's well documented struggle with rampant alcoholism, you ****ing idiot.

              • I'm not making a special trip to any store for bread. I'm not that big of a bread connoisseur. Most of my concern is if it will hold something like turkey and cheese between the slices. Cornbread, I mostly buy Jiffy.

And somehow they all tend to be Catholics faithful to the magisterium.
Ah, Sister Bendy of the Perpetual Assumption reappears. And makes yet another sweeping, proof-less generalisation.

                          Odd that.
It's not odd if it ain't true. Which of course it ain't.

                          No religious prejudice here.
I treat all superstitions equally. I have preferences within each- I prefer Catholic iconography to Orthodox, but that's at least because I'm more familiar with the former. I tend to prefer Bach's religious music to the same era's Catholic music, but then, that's not difficult.

You're not helping your case against being a hipster.
Err, by living in Newham ? I'm sorry, clearly I should have realised in 1987 what a mistake it was moving to one of London's most deprived boroughs because you mistakenly assume it's trendy to have lived here on and off since then.

Equally it was obviously also a big mistake on my part to grow up in an inner city area of Coventry home to a large Afro-Caribbean and Asian population. Which pasty dull white areas in the United Kingdom meet the Ennui monocultural seal of approval for you ?

Just so I can avoid them.

So I take it your obituary will be, "he loved his bread".
No, it will be 'He was still correcting Sister Bendy's multitude of errors and lies in his last moments'.

                            • I was sure I had seen something regarding Kuci's nuptials earlier, and figured it might have been an engagement announcement, so I went and had a look.

In so doing, I found this.

                              ...

So, Reg, what are you eating nowadays?
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.
