  • TLDR: why is it against US law for non-union employees to have a say in company policy?
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

    • Because unions only want their henchmen to have a say. It's not about workers, it's about Union bosses.

Which is why Oerdin is a raging dumbass, he actually wants to force a middle man into the picture because to liberals like him people are just drooling idiots in need of his enlightened despotism.

But you yanks have the perfect way to get rid of such nogooders - just shoot them. Over here we have to get rid of them at elections and select people that actually improves workers conditions - have worked perfectly for nearly a hundred years
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

            • Tensions at the plant are said to be high. The vote will be close. Both sides are confidently predicting victory.

This is the first time I can remember a major plant being organized by the management. This will be interesting to watch it play out.

Is it possible that this vote could cause a shift in the traditional management/employee relationship??

So say regular unemployment rates over 10%.

                      • Workers and management should not have an adversarial relationship. They don't in Germany and they don't in Japan. One can't thrive for long at the expense of the other.

It's not in most states and this is a law peculiar to that state.

                            • Where did I say anything about note trying VW do what it wants.

You do understand all VW wants workers on the board, NOT necessarily union workers, right? Of course you don't.
