Oh... I understand. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of basic grammar... tenses, specifically.

"are going" refers to something in the future.

But grammar is just a government conspiracy, eh? We should let the market decide what words mean.

            1) Actually read post #4 because it anwsers your question.

            2) Unlike Cruz Wendy Davis actually accomplished something legislatively (albeit for only a few months) by blocking legislation from passing. ACA already passed years ago so Cruz knows his dog and pony show will not accomplish a single thing other than to make his party look stupid. Which is why so many people in his own party have turned against him.

Where's the evidence that such enduring disapproval of the new law by a majority of the American people is going to change? It hasn't lessened yet.

I saw a poll on one of the cable news channels. Something like 54% disapproved of the new law. 16% disapproved because it didn't go far enough. So in reality, 38% disapproves of it for... I dunno... being socialism or something.

Also... 2/3rds don't even know what the law does.

a fair portion of the people who don't support ACA are liberals who want single payer. Much of the rest of the disapproval is due to Republican disinformation (claims about death panels, claims about communism, claims about a government take over, etc...) and those will go away when people see that they're just not true. Originally medicare was unpopular largely because you had people like Ronald Reagan running around claiming it was communism and a government take over of health care; when people actually saw medicare and gained experience with it suddenly they LOVED medicare and now even Republicans must claim they won't cut or change medicare or they'll get voted out of office. The exact same thing happened with social security in the 1930's as well. This is what will happen with ACA as well and in 10 years people will all love it and wonder why they ever believed the Republican lies.

42 times and each and every time it was completely clear that it wouldn't pass the senate nor would the president sign it so it was all just a show with zero chance of success.
