That's not what you were saying, though.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

People that say this is a you-don't-have-to-hide-in-the-shadows-any-more kind of thing about their sexuality are just begging to be made fun of and insulted. I'm sorry you don't feel that way.
Dammit. I knew there would be a better post to thank!

DD has every right to judge people based on their actions, such as using drugs.

And we have every right to judge him as a moron for judging people being happy they can use their drugs in public.

Public intox is a violation for a reason.

If it's an outdoor festival then I guess that's a different setting but I would rather people not be lighting up joints on the sidewalk.

Because we live in a state with people who are puritanical trainwrecks and they believe they should impose their will on the rest of us. Seattle PD has completely de prioritized pot arrests for individuals and with the new state law coming through in december it wont be nearly illegal to the same degree.

I never said that they should. By all means they ought to let it go on without incident.

Living here in Seattle and being a person who smokes a bowl a day, I just dont think other people really understand Hempfest from the perspective of the Seattle PD or our decriminalization process.

DD lobbies on behalf of for-profit prison businesses and favors creating an inflated demand for criminals.
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

Serious question. Did you learn to read during your quest for the degree that you seem to have done nothing of note with? Just because I feel drug users demonstrate moral and psychological weaknesses worthy of societal derision and scorn (not the exaltation demanded by some on this board) doesn't mean that I feel the action is worthy of a criminal arrest.

My point there was to ask why even have the law against public intoxication in the first place if you aren't going to enforce it?
