Agreed. It was as dumb as the original insult.

But regardless, DD is still an idiot and a horrible person. So making fun of him for any reason isn't the worst thing in the world.

I generally don't mind DD but apparently he has a serious knee jerk problem when it comes to this issue.

Every one of the examples I posted are groups that at one point or another had to "hide in the shadows" to avoid persecution by the majority. Are any of those groups mockable because they needed to hide in the past and might want to celebrate not having to now?

Pot heads and other assorted drug users are mockable if they see their use of intoxicants as something to be celebrated rather than a weakness worthy of scorn and derision.
