I'm sure Ben and Plato have a problem with this. Plato's solution would be to invent/co-opt a character to argue with other characters to try to prove his point in a way that at some level suggests he's showing both sides of the issue while doing nothing of the sort ... while buggering young boys. It's not surprising that Ben would try to adopt such a platform.

I'm liberal/secular on every "social issue" I can think of bar abortion. I just told BK there are no sound secular arguments against gay marriage in this very thread. I have no beef with teachers' unions, climate science, or higher taxes on the rich. I plead ignorant on most economic questions. I consider the second amendment an anachronism, oppose just about every aspect of the WoT, am indifferent-bordering-on-hostile to Israel...I'm not even patriotic, let alone jingoistic.
