It's quite simple, the state says you have to pay x% of your income in return for which you get to enjoy the incredible level of infrastucture and services that come as part of a modern democracy. You (well not literally you obviously) then get to influence how they spend that money by voting for politicians who share your beliefs. It is now longer your money at that point, and you have absolutely zero direct say over what is done with it. Either get enough people on board with your beliefs that you can get politicians elected to act on them, or shut the **** up and stop whining. No matter what, you still get to enjoy the amazing level of infrastucture and services that come as part of a modern democracy. 4/5ths of the world population would kill for the same opportunity.

Free exercise clause of the First Amendment to the US constitution says that American citizens have the right to practice their religion. Rejection of contraception is a core part of Catholicism, hence, forcing Catholics to pay for contraception is unconstitutional.

Doesn't matter how you dress it up. You can force it however you want, but defying an unconstitutional law is legitimate.

Good luck arresting every single practicing Catholic.

Constitution limits the powers of the government. Absolutely the government has a right to do these things within the framework provided by the US constitution. This bill in providing contraception oversteps the First Amendment unless it exempts Catholics from having to pay for the contraception portion.

Rather than:

1, exempting Catholics from paying for contraception or
2, exempting Catholics from the mandate (both paying for it and receiving benefits), or
3, exempting Catholics from the fine charged for choosing not to participate or
4, requiring Catholics to pay for another plan sans contraception or
5, removing the contraception requirement from Obamacare.

All 5 of which salvage the Bill, Obama has declared that Catholics must pay, which is in contravention of the free exercise clause of the First Amendment to the Constitution.

Perhaps this current administration is willing to jail people for refusing to comply. I await to see what he does when orders of nuns tell Obama to stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

Again, the government has limits as to what it can do. This is why the Constitution is there. You would cry bloody murder if the Federal government required you to purchase a firearm every month. Yet you seem perfectly happy forcing people to pay for unwanted coverage.
